I'm turning Buddhist... partly. Got this from Ongpin, an original import from the mainland. It's called a shu-zu, or mala (rose) beads. It's the Chinese/Buddhist/Hindu rosary. This one has 108 beads, representing the 108 desires to be overcome by man (Buddhism) and the 108 beautiful names of God (hinduism). Next thing to search for... the Subha... or the Muslim rosary with 99 beads representing the 99 names of God.
