christmasey air killed the studying mood

christmas is just around the corner. the breeze is already chilly. jackets are the 'in' thing again, although thomasians are notorious for wearing jackets even during the hot summer months. everybody in lawschoo can't seem to get their concentrations straight, 'coz everybody, especially the undergraduates, are all in the festive mood, prepping up for the Paskuhan, X'mas parties etc.

It has been a tradition in law school that we hold small parties for the professors (mind you, alot of them really like x'mas parties... and these parties have double purposes: first, to celebrate the season, and second, to make 'sipsip', or the least, an 'injunctive' means to forego classes.)

As early as yesterday, christmas 'parties' have already commenced. Of course, we have our own plans for our own 'special' professors.

now, i was thinking since wednesday WON i would attend my junie lee and atty. Bolivar's class. (junie lee is judge diaz... as in look-a-like!). It's imperative that I attend Atty. Palacios' class, since he doesn't check attendance, but the moment you get called for recitation and your not there... he give you a HIGH 'FIVE'. with regard to the former two, well, it's all fine... i think. anyway, I haven't used up my absence privilege in them anyways.

i'm gonna go to makati and meet up with my berks, it's ariel's birthday today, so we have some dinner thingy. though i can't stay anytime later than 9:30 pm 'coz i've got morning classes on saturday.

another thing... i've decided to attend our own class party/outing at LB. well, i was up to it at first, although the perennial problem of cash is preventing me from deciding otherwise. when i saw the final list of those who would come, i saw the name of my 'ex'. yes... THE 'EX'. i was more than apprehensive to write my name on the list, since i wasn't expecting her name to be unilaterally placed there by a common friend of ours. so i didn't.

but alas, joann was all ranty when most of the v-gang didn't sign up, so, to do justice to her (altruism, i might say) i called her and asked her to sign me up, although she knows i have a very valid reason not to be there. i'm doing this as a favor... BIG TIME!
