Sabado nights

This is one of those spontaneous moments I've longed for quite sometime. Me, together with Butch, Jl and Anya had dinner at Gilligan's in Park Square. Talk about the 'after six dietary regiment. Literally, we had our dinner before six pm and started drinking thirty to forty minutes thereafter. Ariel followed and stayed for just over an hour since he has work around 10pm at Globe Telecom. He and Anya left around 9:30 so the three of us stayed up until before 11pm. It was nice to see those people even at least for a few hours. It feels really awkward. Getting drunk in a public place I mean. The last time I did it was... I dunno! See what law school can do to one's social life.

Seems like my prayers are continuously being answered. I've been hearing a lot of good news about my friends, details omitted of course. But I'm ecstatic upon hearing some great news every now and then, and each deserves a thanksgiving.

Seems like we've grown into maturity, amidst the struggle, we've grown well. It was just a few months ago, and every little detail changes for the better, though a lot of sacrifices have been made, and are to be made in time.

Sometimes, you learn about things that surprise you, even though they are not far-fetched from happening. It's kinda weird, although they seem to fall within the greater scheme of things and circumstantially would produce the same effect, without any supervening cause. Am I being left out by time? Have I lived in a different world for so long, that law school seems more of a secularized monastery rather than the entry portal of the real world? Am I so disconcerted and so disconnected with those that really matter to me? Or are these things supposed to be kept in the dark and never to be made known, or if made known, should they be really cognized?

The questions return to beg once more.

Who am I? What do I want? Who do I want to become? Is this for real?

Everything happens so fast faster than the wink in the wrinkle of time. Our blind goddess of justice and equity could not answer. Neither could could Astrea, Nike or Athena. Neither could Eris. Maybe it has been made so by Ein Sof. It was already in deep slumber in me that has been awakened once more, of the things that I lack, of the things that I have completed, and of the things that I only dream of to happen. It is completeness but the lack thereof. It is full but void. It is empty but sufficient.

Tomorrow comes for me as a new day of wonder, amusement, awe and interrogation with my ruach. This is not maya. This is reality as preordained by the ancient one. Interpreting what the author Amy Tan says, there is a difference between Faith and Fate, although both are complimentary.

Confused? So am I. This is travesty of Vitae et Mortis Humanae. It is sinfully delightful, and sanctimoniously sacrilegious.

One man could never be complete. He is always lacking something although he is content with what he has. Still, he is dissatisfied with what has been granted and achieved.
