the week's events

last thursday was the oral arguments at the supreme court for the petition for certiorari of the misnomered E-Vat law. it was a thomasian affair. on behalf of the government, solicitor general alfredo benipayo, on behalf of abakada guro, one of the petitioners, atty. rene gorospe.

i have to admire this man, he was grilled for two hours, untiil he gave up, after justice artemio panganiban consequently made him admit that there was no undue delegation of legislative powers. apparently, everybody laughed in the Court. nakakahiya. but it was still an honorable thing for him to stand his ground til the last minute... he gave up and admitted. hehehe

on the other hand, that event going on at equitable pci bank where trouble is brewing with the William Go faction and Gsis and SSS, blah-blah. I just hope Atty. Divina, my professor in Special Commercial Laws, weather it. he's really nice, albeit, he could be really naughty in a sense that he could really manipulate the stock holders (if it were really true... then ) magaling talaga siya.

sira pa rin ang pc ko, so, while waiting for my car to arrive, i'm here at the nitrohub in asturias. i'm going to rob place (or probably the new sm san lazaro) and buy me a pair of new shoes. a sort of reward for myself.

we sold the lot in pangasinan for two million pesos. my troubles are over. and i'll be reaping the rewards of my labor sooner or later. at least we're economically stable again... if not damn rich again! hehehe. i love being a millionaire!. hehehe
