just arrived at the church.... i met anna banana at the doorway. anna was a friend from AB, economics major, her tita was the bride in the ceremony before us.

my cousin Nette (Maria Antoinette) got married today, July 3, 2005 at San Agustin Church, Intramuros, Manila. My dad was one of the principal sponsors, together with Malabon's Vice Mayor, et al... people mostly from the groom's side... a battalion of people from Pampanga. guess what... from the Bernardo-Gabriel-Santiago side, only two tables were occupied, from the groom's side... everything else. The reception was held at Illustrado. During the reception, only me, my brother and my cousin were clanging the water goblet... it seemed that we were the weirdos... but what the fuck... everybody in manila knows what that means... beyond that there was dead silence. it's traditional in the metropolis to clank the glass to coerce the bride and groom to kiss. whatever. it's a regional thingy.
mind you, it's just until we received the invitation did i know of my cousin in law's name... Advent... adventino something. hahaha! funny.
